UX & Creative Direction: Microsoft Build
As UX & Creative Director for Microsoft Build, I assumed creative ownership beginning with phase 3 of 8 when the lead director went on leave.
I stepped into the program midstream, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity across creative direction, design decisions, stakeholder communication, and team handoffs through post-event.
I directed the UX architecture and design of approximately 75 responsive wireframes spanning global, regional, and in-person experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
The work included authenticated and unauthenticated experiences for navigation, regional content, featured speakers, agendas, featured and searchable sessions, featured partners, and digital swag.
Regional experiences supported France, Germany, Japan, Latin America, and the UK, while phase 4 also introduced an OpenAI demo and tutorial experience.
Working across distributed teams and stakeholders, I guided each phase from UX strategy through design execution, presenting recommendations and aligning teams around the experience vision.
I helped translate a global event experience into localized regional and in-person journeys while maintaining a cohesive, intuitive experience across markets and devices.
