“Justice For Trayvon” Lightweight Hoodies

$47.00

Lightweight Hoodies featuring “Justice For Trayvon” artwork by Lanaé (theComplex).

#JusticeForTrayvon was created out of frustration on March 22, 2012, the same day Sanford police chief Bill Lee “temporarily stepped down from his position because of public criticism over his handling of the Trayvon Martin shooting.” The artwork was applied to apparel for family to wear at the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington in August 2013.

The design was meant to be a one-off, with proceeds donated to Dream Defenders, a non-profit that spent weeks protesting inside the Florida state capitol and sought to reform the state’s “Stand Your Ground” laws and school-to-prison-pipeline issues with “Trayvon’s Law.”
