UX, Art Direction & Design: In-App Promo for Anker at T-Mobile
The Ask
Support the launch of Anker’s Soundcore audio products within the T-Mobile app by creating a promotional dashboard experience that would drive awareness while seamlessly integrating into the native mobile experience.
The Approach
The promotion needed to stand out during the crowded holiday shopping season without feeling disruptive or out of place. Following Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines (HIG), I designed an experience that balanced visual impact with platform conventions, ensuring the promotion felt like a natural extension of the app rather than a traditional advertisement.
To reinforce the seasonal campaign, I incorporated one of T-Mobile’s signature branded ribbons as the primary visual device, with a Soundcore portable speaker appearing to emerge through the ribbon. This created a sense of motion and depth while maintaining a clean, minimal composition appropriate for a native iOS interface.
Beyond the visual design, I partnered with copywriters to refine the headline, body copy, and legal messaging so the content remained concise, readable, and effective across both phone and tablet layouts. Careful attention was given to hierarchy, spacing, and responsive constraints to ensure the promotion retained its clarity across multiple device sizes.
